The Nape Pro starts at $89.99 and comes in black and white. For a wireless trackball with this spec sheet, that price sits in reasonable territory for enthusiasts who have been watching the category.

What Is Actually Inside

The Nape Pro is built around a 25 mm resin trackball riding on a PixArt PAW 3222 sensor. That sensor is a well-regarded option in the trackball space, and pairing it with a resin ball rather than a generic plastic one suggests Keychron put some thought into feel rather than just specs.

Connectivity covers both Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4 GHz wireless, with the latter handled by a USB Type-A dongle included in the box. Having both options matters for people who juggle multiple machines or prefer the lower-latency feel of a dedicated wireless receiver for gaming or precision work.

The firmware running underneath all of this is ZMK, which Keychron says is tuned for wireless efficiency. The result, according to the company, is a battery life of up to 50 hours from a 200 mAh cell. That is a modest battery by size, so hitting that figure would be a genuine win for ZMK’s reputation.

Button count lands at six total: two main clicks and four additional buttons, all remappable through Keychron’s Launcher web app. The web app approach keeps things accessible without requiring a dedicated software install, which is a sensible call for a device aimed at cleaner, more portable setups.
