JSAUX Spins Up a Controller Brand in Year Ten

JSAUX Gaming has been making cables, docks, and handheld accessories long enough to know which direction players are pointing. Now the company wants to make the things players are actually holding. On August 6, JSAUX announced Voidjoy, a new sub-brand carved out specifically for gaming controllers and controller accessories, according to a press release published by TechPowerUp.

The move comes as JSAUX marks its tenth year in the gaming accessories space. Rather than folding controllers into its existing lineup, the company is giving the category its own identity, its own brand name, and presumably its own marketing lane. Whether that separation signals serious long-term investment or just tidy shelf organization remains to be seen, but the intent reads as deliberate.

“Over the past decade, JSAUX GAMING has built its products around practical design and real player needs,” said Winnie Chen, Marketing Communications Manager at JSAUX, as quoted in the press release. “Voidjoy brings that same thinking into gaming controllers, one of the most direct ways players experience their games.”

Three Product Areas, Details Still Forthcoming

The Voidjoy lineup is organized around three categories. Portable controllers are aimed at handheld, mobile, and on-the-go play. PC controllers are positioned for traditional gamepad use with added customization. And controller accessories are designed to extend or enhance the controllers players already own.

That last category is an interesting angle. The accessory-for-accessories market is real, if niche, and it plays directly to JSAUX’s existing strengths. The company has built its reputation on practical add-ons, so attaching grips, charging docks, or carrying cases to controllers it did not make is a familiar kind of work.

IFA 2026 Will Be the First Real Look

The first public showcase for Voidjoy is scheduled for IFA 2026 in Berlin, running September 4 through 8 at Messe Berlin. JSAUX will be at booth H7.2b_117, where media, partners, and show attendees will be able to see all three product lines alongside the broader JSAUX Gaming lineup.

IFA is a reasonable venue for this kind of debut. The Berlin show draws hardware buyers and press from across Europe and beyond, and it sits close enough to the holiday shopping window that announcements there tend to carry some urgency.

The Naming Question Nobody Is Avoiding

It would be negligent not to mention that the name Voidjoy is already drawing raised eyebrows. Commenters on TechPowerUp were quick to point out the branding tension baked into a word that literally combines “void” and “joy.” One reader noted they were not sure the company wanted to imply the brand is “void of joy.” Another said their excitement for the announcement had been “lost to the void of space.” A third simply asked how this market is not already saturated.

That last question is fair. The controller space in 2026 is genuinely crowded, with established players like Microsoft, Sony, and Valve alongside a growing field of third-party gamepad makers targeting PC and handheld audiences. JSAUX will need Voidjoy to offer something more than a new logo when the actual hardware lands on tables in Berlin next month.

The controller accessories angle may be where Voidjoy has the clearest footing. Building products around hardware people already love, rather than asking them to switch allegiances entirely, is a lower-friction pitch. How JSAUX executes on the controllers themselves is the harder and more important question, and IFA 2026 is where the first real answers will start to take shape.
