THQ Nordic's 2026 Showcase Brings 8 Switch Games, 12 Still Unannounced

THQ Nordic Has 29 Games in the Oven, and Switch Is Getting a Big Slice

THQ Nordic held its 2026 Showcase this week, and the publisher came out swinging for Nintendo fans on both ends of the hardware spectrum. As reported by Nintendo Life, the event covered eight games heading to Switch 1, Switch 2, or both, ranging from a horror DLC that dropped the same day the showcase aired to a Gothic III remaster arriving just before the holiday shopping rush.

The publisher closed the broadcast with a notable stat: THQ Nordic currently has 29 games in development, and 12 of them remain unannounced even after this showcase. That is a lot of mystery still on the table.

What Is Out Now and What Is Coming Soon

The most immediately relevant news is for Reanimal players. Tarsier Studios, the team behind the Little Nightmares series, has launched the first DLC for their Switch 2 co-op horror title. Called The Prisoner, the add-on introduces two new characters, The Soldier and The Prisoner, and drops them into war-ravaged environments that the official description promises will get considerably worse before they get better. It is already live and is included in the game’s season pass.

On the remaster front, Sacred 2 Remaster is listed as coming soon for Switch 1, without a specific date attached. Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed arrives on Switch 2 on September 15, followed by Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed on October 6, exclusively on Switch 2. SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide lands on Switch 1 just a week later, on October 13. Gothic III Classic, a remaster of the 2006 RPG, closes out the year on November 24 for Switch 2.

Two Karaoke Games Walk Into a Release Date

November 3 is apparently karaoke day. THQ Nordic and developer Voxler are releasing Let’s Sing 2027 and Let’s Sing ABBA on the same date. The former is the newest entry in the long-running series and hits Switch 1, Switch 2, and PS5. The latter is technically a return engagement: Let’s Sing ABBA originally launched back on October 4, 2022, but this version makes its debut on Switch 2 while also coming back to Switch 1 and PS5. It includes 32 ABBA songs, with “I Have A Dream” listed as an additional track this time around.

The One That Still Has No Date

The Eternal Life of Goldman got a new trailer at the showcase, and it is genuinely striking. The game is hand-drawn, frame by frame, and the latest video focuses on that art process specifically. According to Nintendo Life, a previous trailer had indicated a 2026 release, but this newest one carries no date. It is confirmed for Switch 1. The official description calls Goldman “probably the most elderly hero of any platform game ever,” which is a sentence that earns at least a moment of appreciation.

For a publisher that still has a dozen unannounced projects in the pipeline, the already-confirmed Switch lineup gives fans of remastered RPGs, co-op horror, and karaoke enough to mark on the calendar through the rest of 2026.
