Spinx Finally Gets the One He Wanted

Lotan “Spinx” Giladi has been one of Counter-Strike’s most decorated fraggers for years now, a four-time Top 20 player of the year by HLTV’s reckoning. But an MVP medal had eluded him. That changed at the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 Finals, where the MOUZ star put together a dominant run that culminated in three of his best maps on Championship Sunday as his team dismantled Spirit in the grand final.

“I’ve been close a couple of times, so I’m happy I managed to win one,” Spinx told HLTV after the event. “I always wanted to have just one in my career.”

One is now in the cabinet. Whether MOUZ can sustain this level with its current roster going forward is the question the team will need to answer next.

Torzsi’s Resurgence Earns the EVP

The sole EVP from the eight-team offline finals went to Adam “torzsi” Torzsas, and it is hard to argue with the selection. His story heading into Bounty was one of modest recent form, having averaged a 1.02 rating over the last three months of the first half of 2026, according to HLTV. What followed was a sharp reversal.

Torzsi posted a 1.48 rating during the online portion of the competition and backed it up with a 1.22 on LAN at the finals. Five maps at or above a 1.20 rating against 3DMAX and Astralis anchored his case, including a crucial 39-frag performance on Nuke against the French squad. A quieter final in terms of raw impact opened the door for Spinx to claim the MVP, but the EVP still firmly recognizes torzsi’s role as a driving force behind MOUZ’s first trophy in 18 months.

Who Came Close

Several players earned honorable mentions without quite reaching the threshold for a formal award. Adrian “xelex” Vincze put together four solid maps and delivered a standout Mirage in the grand final but, as HLTV noted, lacked the depth across the event to claim EVP status. Teammate PR impressed against 3DMAX and in the opening maps of the final but ran into the same ceiling.

Danil “donk” Kryshkovets arrived at the event with two Bounty MVP medals already to his name, but inconsistency in the semi-final and grand final kept him off the podium this time around. A 1.76-rated opening map against Liquid was not enough to compensate for what came after. Victor “Staehr” Staehr earned credit for back-to-back overtime performances against paiN in the path to the semis, then ran into MOUZ and had a difficult finish.

Deeper in the bracket, Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch posted a 1.20 rating in the quarter-finals and Georgi “Jorko” Mitev added a plus 4.37 percent Swing contribution for his team, but neither could advance far enough to build a complete case.

What This Means for MOUZ

The awards picture at BLAST Bounty Season 2 is essentially a MOUZ story from top to bottom. Both the MVP and EVP sitting with the same roster is a statement of collective depth, not just individual brilliance. Torzsi’s turnaround in form is the subplot that makes it more interesting: a player who had been quietly underperforming found something over the summer, and it paid off when the lights were brightest.

Spinx, meanwhile, has ticked off a career milestone he had been chasing for years. The hardware is real, the moment was earned, and the next challenge is proving this version of MOUZ belongs at the top of the CS2 tier for longer than a single event run.
