Fortnite has done collabs with just about everyone at this point, from Sonic the Hedgehog to Ralph Breaks the Internet to Doom. But few crossovers carry the same kind of mutual energy as Cyberpunk 2077, a game that shares Fortnite’s appetite for neon excess and overwhelming cultural presence. Now, as reported by Dexerto, the two are linking up for a third time, and leaks suggest it is arriving very soon.

According to leakers, the Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration is expected to drop on August 20, 2026, as part of Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 4, which goes by the name Override. Epic Games had already confirmed that a Cyberpunk collab was coming, but the specifics have been filled in largely through the leak community.

Two Guns and a Familiar Face

The clearest picture of what is coming has been painted by Hypex, one of Fortnite’s most reliable leakers. According to Hypex, players can expect two Cyberpunk Dual SMGs: the Arasaka HJSH-18 Masamune and the TKI-20 Shingen. These are not background details buried in a data mine. As reported by Dexerto, both weapons show up in the Chapter 7 Season 4 teaser trailer, alongside the billboard that first got fans speculating about the Night City connection.

Beyond the weapons, other leakers are pointing to a male V skin making its way into the item shop. V is the player character at the center of Cyberpunk 2077’s story, so bringing him into Fortnite’s roster makes obvious sense. There is currently no word on a female V skin being part of the package, which will probably disappoint some players who spent their entire 2077 playthrough with that version of the character.

The Porsche Question

Then there is the Porsche 911 Turbo. Some leakers have included it in the same breath as the Cyberpunk content, but the situation is murkier there. According to Dexerto’s reporting, there is genuine speculation about whether the Porsche is actually tied to the collab at all, or whether it is just a separate item arriving around the same time. Cyberpunk 2077 does have a well-documented relationship with Porsche as part of its in-game world, so the connection is not far-fetched. But nothing has been confirmed on that front.

It is worth remembering that leaks, even from trusted sources, are not guarantees. Details shift between data mines and live updates. Still, Hypex’s track record with Fortnite is strong, and the fact that two of the flagged weapons already appear in official Epic marketing gives the broader leak a lot more credibility than usual.

A Collab With Momentum Behind It

This being the third Cyberpunk 2077 collab with Fortnite says something about how well the partnership has performed. Epic does not keep returning to a property unless the previous rounds moved items and generated attention. The Override branding for Chapter 7 Season 4 also feels like a deliberate aesthetic fit with Night City’s corporate dystopia vibes, which suggests the timing is by design rather than coincidence.

If the August 20 date holds, players will not have long to find out exactly what made the final cut. The Masamune and Shingen alone should make the first few days of the season chaotic in the best possible way, since dual SMGs from a game famous for its guns-blazing netrunner fantasy is about as on-brand as a Fortnite collab can get.
