For Nitro_Camden, an 18-year-old from St. Louis who typically pulls about one viewer per stream, that moment arrived when StableRonaldo and Marlon dropped roughly 15,000 viewers onto his channel. For a few seconds, it was everything a small streamer hopes for.

Then his mom walked in.

According to Dexerto, what followed was a prolonged and distressing confrontation that played out in front of the newly arrived audience. Camden’s mother could be heard calling him a failure and telling him he added no value to the household. She threatened to kick him out. The argument turned physical, with footage from the stream showing her punching Camden while he was still live. She also unplugged his equipment mid-stream as Camden’s brother became involved in the escalating situation.

”I Already Emptied Out All Your One-Year Accounts”

The confrontation went further than a shouting match. As reported by Dexerto, Camden’s mother told him on stream that she had taken his phone and drained money from his accounts. “I already took your phone, I already emptied out all your one-year accounts,” she could be heard saying. She acknowledged she had been unable to access at least one other account, adding: “I just can’t get the other one because, I don’t know why it won’t let me. I’m not putting no money towards your accounts. You’re not getting a dime from me.”

Police were reportedly called during the confrontation. That eventually brought the stream to a close.

The whole thing unfolded in front of thousands of people who had tuned in expecting to watch a happy little streamer enjoy his biggest-ever moment. Instead they witnessed something considerably harder to watch.

Clips spread quickly after the stream ended, and StableRonaldo addressed the situation publicly. “wtf is wrong with people,” he wrote, according to Dexerto. “tried to help out a smaller streamer and his mom does this??”

That reaction helped crystallize what a lot of viewers were already feeling. The Twitch community rallied behind Camden, with the incident drawing sympathy and support from people across the platform. The raid itself, meant as a generous boost to a tiny channel, became the backdrop for something the 15,000 incoming viewers clearly did not expect to witness.
